Screenings
What is a speech-language screening? How does it differ from a speech-language evaluation?
A speech-language screening is a brief assessment of a child’s speech and language skills. The purpose of a screening is to identify the children that need a more thorough speech-language evaluation.
If you are interested in scheduling a free 30-minute screening, contact the Director, Chris Hwang, at (301) 913-9009, ext.6 or email us.
Completing the screening instrument itself may only take up to 15 minutes. The other 15 minutes will be spent observing your child and discussing your concerns regarding your child’s speech and language development.
